What's New:

  • Want to see the previous version of the submissions before the most recent images, attachments, and edits were made? Just open the 'Version History' panel from the actions menu (three dots button) and click to navigate through the different versions from the side panel.

  • Compare newer versions of a given submission to older versions, check out the changes that have been made, and see the progression of the product's development from start to finish. Each submission version is timestamped with the date of when those changes were made for even better insight.

  • We keep hearing from our licensor and licensee users that it is difficult to tell when the next action on a submission is required by them. Not anymore.

  • Now, you can quickly see who needs to perform the next action in order to have a faster submission approval process.

  • In the detail view: We created a 'turn' indicator in the 'Submission Details' view that will let you know which party needs to perform the next action.

  • In the list view: We added a column named 'Next action' which will show the name of the company that needs to perform the next action. Also, there is a filter named 'Next action by' which will let you filter Submissions in your list by 'Next action by Reviewer' (usually the licensor) or 'Next action by Submitter' (usually the licensee)

  • Want to easily see the stage of the submission your working on? What were the resolutions for the previous stages?

  • We have improved the 'Submission Details' page to make it clear what stage the current submission is in, and what changed from the previous stages.

  • The one we’ve all been waiting for – notifications settings are here! Choose what notifications you wish to receive and how you want to receive them.

  • Simply go to 'Profile & Preferences' > 'Notifications' to manage these settings.

  • It’s nice that you can add, order, and remove columns in our list views and use filters to customize those list views to display exactly the values you want to see. However, sometimes you need to show what you are seeing to someone outside of the Brainbase.

  • Now you can export list views from Brainbase in a format of your choice (CSV, XLS, XLSX). You can also choose what to export using filters and custom columns.

  • Simply click on the export button next to the custom columns button in the top right corner of the page to initiate the export. The export download link will be posted in your notification side-drawer as well as emailed to you.

  • NOTE: If you have a huge list to export (with a lot of rows and columns), it might take a couple of seconds for the export link to show up in the notifications side-drawer and email.

  • You can now add attachments to image-based comments (images and general file types) for submissions.

  • We added color coding for comments under submissions to identify which comments were made by the licensor, agency, or licensee. You can also now see the commenting person’s company under 'Submission Comments.'

  • Now, you can quickly navigate to the 'Company Profile' page right from within the 'Contract Details' view.

  • The 'Contract Details' view has been upgraded. You can now view related sales reports and submissions - click to navigate directly to them right from within the 'Contract Details' view.

  • So far, we’ve only had filters for contracts, submissions, and sales reports. Now, they are available for all of the big lists in our app including properties and companies.

  • If you add an agency as a party to a contract, you should be able to decide if the licensee can submit new items or if only the agency can submit new items (keeping the licensees to view only) or both.

  • Now, the licensors can do just that when adding or editing a contract.
