Understanding a Sales Report Status

It's important to know what each sales report status means as you manage this process of your business. You will be able to view your sales reports and their status from the 'Sales Report' tab.  

To see all of the same statuses at once, simply click on ‘Add Filter’ in the top left corner.

Then select ‘Status.’

Then select the ‘is’ option. Once clicked, you will see a dropdown menu of statuses to choose from. This menu is scrollable so you can see all of the choices. 

After selecting the statues you wish to see, close the dropdown menu by clicking on the arrow and then click ‘Done.’

Brainbase has seven sales report statuses:

-Draft

-Paid

-Approved

-Not Approved

-Pending

-Due

-Upcoming

The sales report for this contract hasn't been uploaded yet.

The user made it to step 4 of 4 in the sales report upload process but didn't click on the 'Submit' button to submit the sales report. Instead, they clicked on the 'X' button.

They were prompted to this screen and chose ‘Keep draft.’

The royalties from this sales report in this contract have been paid to the licensor/property owner.

The sales report for this contract has been approved by the licensor/property owner.

Sales Report Status: Not Approved

The sales report for this contract has not been approved by the licensor/property owner.

The sales report for this contract is pending approval by the licensor/property owner.

The sales report for this contract is due and the licensee needs to upload this sales report. The licensor has the option to upload this sales report, as well. 

To upload a sales report, simply hover your mouse over any part of the 'Sales Report' row and the upload buttons will appear on the right side. The left button is to upload a sales report, while the right button is to report zero sales.

The sales report for this contract is upcoming within the next month, quarter, half-year or year depending on the contract terms. These rows are not clickable.
