Milestones offer a simple, straightforward way to keep track of important dates and events. Note that at this time, creating and managing Milestones are licensor-specific features.
Creating a Milestone
Creating a Milestone is a great way to keep tabs on upcoming dates or events that might affect the product submission process.
To start, select the submission in question from the list view to arrive on the 'Submission Details' page. From there, click on the 'Milestones' tab.
This is where you'd be able to see any preexisting Milestones associated with this submission. Click 'Add New Milestone' to proceed.
From there, a popup will appear where you can edit the following fields:
Name
Description
Assigned to
Target Date
Once you've filled each field, click 'Save' to proceed.
You can now see this new addition under the 'Milestones' tab for this submission.
Editing or Deleting Milestones
Editing or deleting a Milestone is as simple as creating one. To start, select the desired submission from the list view to arrive on the 'Submission Details' page. From there, click on the 'Milestones' tab to view your preexisting entries. Select the one you want, which will take you to the 'Edit Milestone' page.
After you've made the necessary changes, click 'Save' to continue.
To delete, simply click the trashcan icon from the Milestones list view on the MIlestone you need to delete.
Milestone Permissions
Only users who are granted a role with the appropriate permissions will be able to add, view, edit or delete Milestones. To learn more about assigning roles as an Admin user, click here.
