How to Add a Company

How to add a company:

  1. Select 'Companies' from the list view after logging in. 

 2. Click 'Add Company' to begin adding a new company.



3. Type in the 'Company Name' field to start searching for the company you want to add. If it already exists in Brainbase, you will be able to add it to your list. Otherwise, click on the 'Add item' option to add a new company.



4. To add a company logo, click on the 'Upload' button and select an image.

We support all common image files, like JPEG, GIF, and PNG. The image should be at least 300 x 300 pixels.


5. Add the company website and company nickname if you want a different name to display. 


6. Add the company type: Licensor, Licensee, Manufacturer, or Agency.


7. Add the company description. 


8. Add the company address.


9. Add the company contacts. You can add as many contacts as you want. First name, last name, and email address are required fields. These are similar to a business card. Ex. A licensor might add the contact info for their finance department for users who need to discuss sales report data.



10. Upload any relevant attachments such as agreements.


11. Once you have added all company details, contacts, and applicable attachments, make sure to click on 'Add Company' to save your work. 



 12. You will now see this company on your 'Companies' tab. This section is clickable and will take you to the company detail page as shown below. 



 13. Once the Company is created, you will now be able to invite Collaborators to this Company. 



 14. Click on 'Add Collaborators.' From here you will be able to invite the team of 'New Company' and select their user roles.


15. To add multiple Collaborators with the same role, you can simply type out each email with a comma or space in between.


16. Choose the user's role. To learn more about User Roles look at our article here. then click on 'Save.'


17. You will now see those Users located under 'Collaborators.' Those users will also be sent an invite email to join the team.
