A brief explanation of what a Property means in Brainbase:
A Property is a legally protected intellectual asset that is represented on the 'Properties' tab within Brainbase.
A Property has a single owner, which will be able to license out, manage and monitor all the licensing business related to it. It can also be used by any licensee or agent that has leased the rights for it.
Each Property has the following:
Name
Logo
Description
Website
Rights (Categories and Territories)
Related Contracts
A Property Owner (PO) can define sets of categories and territories of licensing opportunities for a property, which will be automatically tracked against existing deals. This will help in identifying gaps and improving coverage across both geographic and product categories.
