New Features & Improvements
Approving/rejecting contracts, whitelisting email addresses, temporary sharing of digital assets, and inclusion of out-of-territory sales.
With a new year comes a fresh batch of new features and improvements within Brainbase Assist. Multiple frequently-requested upgrades have finally come to life, ready to improve the workflow of licensors, licensees, and agents:
Licensors can now either approve or reject incoming contracts from licensees and agents.
Companies can now specify which external users can view their data by using email whitelisting.
We've added the ability to share digital assets with a temporary link to keep your data as secure as possible.
Now, when you mark a payment (advance, guarantee) as recoupable, you can also select if it applies to out-of-territory sales via a toggle switch - which is a huge step for international companies!
Approving or Rejecting Contracts
Licensors now have the option to review the 'Contract Details' page for an incoming contract, arming them with all of the crucial information to make a decision. Once they've reviewed it, they can decide whether to approve or reject the contract.
Email Whitelisting
On the add/edit company form, licensors can now 'whitelist' multiple email domains, which means that only external users with those email domains can collaborate with that licensor and see pre-existing shared data.
This effectively 'blacklists' any email domain that isn’t included on this list, securing your data even further from involved (external) parties.
Sharing Assets with a Temporary Link
Users can now limit the exposure that external contacts will have to their digital assets by utilizing a temporary link to share with them. This allows the user to set a custom time and date that the link will expire.
