Submission Fields are used to create submission data points for different stages and types of submissions. There are predefined fields in our submission field library, but Licensor Admin users can create as many custom fields as needed.

How to access Submission Field Settings in Brainbase:
Click your user icon image in the bottom-left corner, and then under the 'Company Settings' header, click 'Submissions' > 'Fields.' You'll land on the 'Custom Fields' page:
How to Add A New Custom Field:
Click the 'Add Field' button in the top right corner.
Add the custom field name, type, and description.
Click ‘Add Field’ to confirm your work.
Default Fields and their types:
Categories: A multiple-choice select list to add categories for the submission.
Type: Select List (multiple choices)
Color: A free-form text field used to describe the color of the submission.
Type: Text Field (single line)
Cost: A Currency Field that's used to set the cost of the submission.
Type: Currency Field
Description: This is a required field used for adding a submission description and can’t be changed by users.
Type: Text Field (multi-line)
Distribution Channels: A multiple-choice select list that's used to add distribution channels for the submission.
Type: Select List (multiple choices)
FOB Price: A Currency Field that's used to set the FOB price of the submission.
Type: Currency Field
Marketing Start Date: A date picker field that determines the marketing start date of the submission.
Type: Date Picker
Material: A free-form text field that's used to describe the material of the submission.
Type: Text field (single line)
Name: This is a required field used to identify a submission and can’t be changed by users.

Retail Price: A Currency Field that's used to set the retail price of the submission.
Type: Currency Field
Samples: This field will add the 'Samples' section so you can add samples to a submission.
Type: Custom Field
SKU: A stock-keeping unit is a code used to identify submissions and link them to sales reports.
Type: Text Field (single line)
Territories: A multiple-choice select list that's used to add territories for the submission.
Type: Select List (multiple choices)
Wholesale Price: A Currency Field that's used to set the wholesale price of the submission.
