You now have the ability to generate a temporary link for your digital assets. This feature will allow you to generate a shareable link along with a configurable expiration timeframe for your files/folders. This feature provides a great security measurement when sharing confidential data with outside parties that you may not want to give permanent access to.
Follow the steps below to generate a shareable link for your digital asset files and configure a custom expiration date associated with it.
1. Navigate to the ‘Digital Assets’ tab on the left sidebar.
2. Hover over the file or folder you would like to share and click the 3-dotted more options menu.
3. Click ‘Share.’
4. To the right where it says ‘Temporary links,’ click ‘Create new.’
5. Here, you will be required to enter to fill the 'Link name’ field and set a date and time for when the link should expire.
6. Once you fill in those fields, click ‘Save.’
7. A pop-up with your new temporary link details will appear. Click ‘Copy link’ and the link will save to your clipboard.
8. Simply right-click and paste in any document such as an email or messenger and the link will be pasted.
