Invite Your Internal Team

Brainbase is revolutionizing the IP and licensing industry in many ways. One way is being the ability to collaborate with your team on one powerful software platform. This is where inviting the rest of your company to use Brainbase comes in.

Please note that this is a different process than inviting external collaborators from other companies. Users that you invite internally (your colleagues) will have access to all of your company's information, whereas external collaborators will only see your mutual shared data.

Also, keep in mind that only users with an 'Administrator' role will be able to see the 'Company Settings' option and have the ability to invite team members to Brainbase.

Start by clicking your initials or image on the bottom left corner as this will bring up a popup window. From there, click on 'Company Settings,' 'User Management,' then 'People.'

The 'User Management' page will appear and you will see every team member who has access to Brainbase. This page will only show yourself if you are just starting out.

Invite your team members by clicking the 'Invite People' button in the upper-right corner.

From there, a popup will appear for you to add emails and choose what type of user role a team member will have. For more on roles, click here.

Type in their email address and choose a role type from the dropdown. For this example, we added two test emails, then selected the 'Administrator' role.

You can also add multiple roles to a team member as shown below. Once you are done, click on the 'Invite' button.

This will send each person an invitation email from Brainbase as shown below.

After inviting a team member, you will see the 'User Management' page updated with the team members you just invited and their status as shown below.

If you made a mistake, you can delete a team member as well. Click on the 'Delete' button on the right side of the person's name as shown below. Keep in mind, the invitation email from Brainbase has already been sent so make sure to communicate this to your team member.

A pop-up will appear - select the person's name then click 'Delete User.'

User Management Search & Sorting Features

You have the ability to sort each column in ascending order from A-Z and descending order from Z-A. Simply click on the column name and you will see an arrow change direction (up or down) every time you click.

The sort feature will allow you to easily view your team in order by any column you choose. You can also easily search by name as well. Please see some examples below.

Search Feature

Status column sorted from 'Invited' to 'Has Access'

 Name column sorted from A-Z
