You can access the Categories Report from the Sales Report Overview page in two different ways as highlighted below:
Click on Sales Breakdown in the top menu bar.
There is a dropdown menu. Click on Categories.
The second way to access the Categories Report from the Sales Report Overview page is by scrolling down to the Categories section and clicking on Categories Report.
Clicking on any of these two buttons will take you to a detailed view of the Categories Report. This section will show you all of the data for your categories during this sales period. The table is broken out with the category name as rows and the sales report data point as columns.
Key Features and Highlights
Search
The ability to search by category name. In this example, we search for "Hats".
The row with "Hats" shows up and is the only visible row based on this sales report. As you start to type "H", all categories that have this letter in them will start to appear.
Scrolling
The ability to scroll to the right and see all of the columns.
You can now see all of the category data for this sales report.
Ascending and Descending Order
Click on the column name to view that column data from smallest to largest and vice versa.
In this example, we sort the column "Units Sold" in ascending order (smallest to largest).
In this example, we sort the column "Gross Sales" in descending order (largest to smallest).
