Contract Rights Exclusivity

Licensors can assign exclusive right sets to a specific licensee or agency. There are two types of exclusivities:

  1. Representation Exclusivity - set on representation contracts, meaning that this agent has exclusive representation rights for the selected territory, category, or combination of both. Representation exclusivity is shown whenever a new representation contract is being added.

  2. License Exclusivity - set on licensing contracts, means that this licensee has exclusive rights for the selected territory, category, or combination of both. License exclusivity is shown whenever a new licensing contract is being added.

Adding exclusivity

You can create an exclusive rights set in either the 'Add Contract' or 'Edit Contract' flows. Just select the properties, territories, categories, distribution channels and effective period (if separate from the contract dates) and click the 'Exclusive' toggle.

Make sure to click 'Save' at the end of this section before proceeding.
