Clearing your cache is generally the same process for most popular web browsers with minor differences in each step. Here, we will walk you through exactly how to clear your cache within the most popular web browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge.

Note: Clearing your cache will require sites to reload images and data, meaning that initial page-load times may take a bit longer. Clearing your cookies will sign you out of websites and will require you to log back in.

1. At the top right, click the more options button.

2. Navigate to 'More tools' > 'Clear browsing data.'

3. Select 'All time.' 

4. Check 'Cached images and files.'

5. Click 'Clear data.'

1. Click the hamburger menu icon. 

2. Select 'Options.'

3. Select the 'Privacy & Security' panel.

4. In the 'Cookies and Site Data' section, click 'Clear Data…'

5. Make sure the 'Cached Web Content' box is checked. Click the 'Clear' button.

1. With Safari open, navigate to 'Safari' > 'Preferences...' at the navigation bar of your desktop.

2. A pop-up window will appear, click on 'Advanced.' At the bottom of that page, make sure the 'Show Develop menu in menu bar' box is checked.

5. Choose 'All time' from the 'Time range' drop-down menu.

7. Select 'Clear now.'
